Meet Ronya Weadock!

She’s the face and fearless leader of WeadCo Insurance. Hailing from Kerrville, Texas, Ronya's roots lie in a fourth-generation ranching family, instilling in her a strong work ethic and a drive for success. Ronya attended Texas A&M University where she met her husband, Chris (at the Dixie Chicken to be exact!). From their family retail store, custom limestone business, to their pool servicing business, the two are no strangers to the world of entrepreneurship.

During her 9 years with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, Ronya saw an opportunity for expanded coverage options to better suit her clients. The dream of having her own independent insurance agency came to life in June of 2021. Having contacts and close friends in the industry, Ronya worked with Texas Agency Alliance, who assisted in getting WeadCo recognized with some of the nation's largest insurance carriers. Within a few short weeks of opening shop, Ronya sold her first policy from the floor of an empty office.

While her family has dedicated much of their time over the past two and a half years to WeadCo, Ronya still prioritizes time away from the office. Whether it be fishing on the coast, watching college football, or traveling the country, her family is always by her side.

Ronya’s dreams for WeadCo are only growing! Despite industry challenges, she continues the expansion across Texas, New Mexico and Arizona while keeping her focus on education and empowering client’s decision making. Beyond agency growth, Ronya continues to dedicate herself to the incredible team she has built, spurring them towards success and continually providing the tools needed for them to be at the top of the industry.

Meet Mackenzie Weadock!

She entered the insurance industry in August 2022, taking over the operations and administrative tasks of WeadCo. Mackenzie swiftly expanded the agency’s portfolio to include life insurance, dedicating herself to the continuous growth of her business.

Whether it be traveling the state showing livestock, leadership positions at TAMU, or witnessing her parents' businesses from a young age, her life experiences have inspired a passion for premier customer service, seeing people as more than a client. “Seeing both of my parents own their own businesses my entire life has had a huge impact on me, learning that what you put in is what you get out.” Mackenzie went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Communications & Journalism.

Mackenzie thrives in her role, cherishing the opportunity to collaborate with her mother, Ronya. Her enthusiasm for people and her ability to grasp the unique stories of her clients spurs her commitment to the significance of life insurance.

When Mackenzie is not working, she’s most likely with her puppy, Georgie, hanging out with family and friends, or playing games like monopoly deal or pickleball.

Mackenzie has big dreams for WeadCo and plans to continue to niche down their market, providing even more elite service and coverages. She keeps a client-centric approach, while equally prioritizing the relationships with her internal team.

Meet Elise Baker!

Elise was born and raised in the heart of San Angelo, Texas, and her local roots run deep. After completing her education at Angelo State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, she decided to remain close to home, building a life and career in the surrounding community. Now living in Ballinger, Texas, Elise shares her home with her loyal mini Australian Shepherds, Duke and Hondo, who never fail to keep her on her toes.

Elise’s journey with WeadCo Insurance began in April of 2022, when she joined as an agency intern. Her passion for helping others quickly became evident, and after successfully passing her insurance exam, she transitioned into a full-time role, where her dedication to client satisfaction shines. Elise has a special knack for connecting with people, making them feel at ease while expertly guiding them through the insurance process. She specializes in both personal and commercial lines, however, she has also developed a strong affinity for event insurance. Ensuring her clients are protected during life’s most important and memorable events

Outside of her professional life, Elise is just as vibrant and active. Whether she’s grilling with friends, spending time outdoors, or perfecting her swing on the golf course, she embraces everything West Texas has to offer.

As Elise continues to grow in her career, her enthusiasm for learning and commitment to serving the West Texas community only deepens. She is always eager to provide her clients with the best service and coverage, helping them navigate life’s uncertainties with confidence and ease.

Meet Erin Ottmers!

Erin is originally from Georgetown, TX and is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Merchandising and Marketing. Erin and her husband, Trae, are actively involved in their community, supporting youth in agriculture, and have a passion for raising purebred angus cattle on their property in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Erin’s spark for insurance started in the early 2000s when she witnessed a friend first hand build a captive insurance agency from the ground up. This experience has greatly contributed to her dedicated work ethic & motivation for success. Erin went on to build an incredible career with Texas Farm Bureau where she became great friends with Ronya Weadock. Erin and Ronya always found themselves in each other's orbit, and as their friendship & careers grew, Erin joined WeadCo Insurance.

Erin is passionate about sales and is devoted to finding the perfect fit for her clients and their insurance needs. She enjoys building deep, purposeful connections with her customers and being a valuable asset to their financial protection. Erin moved to Fredericksburg when her husband started his career with Capital Farm Credit, and in the process she found a passion for small town insurance.

Erin lives in the beautiful Texas Hill Country with her husband and two kids, August and Garrison. Erin appreciates spending time outdoors, and she loves to be active. She spends a great deal of her time with her family at sporting events and livestock shows.

Erin has big plans for WeadCo in the Texas Hill Country, and she is an outstanding asset to our team. We are so grateful for her commitment and dedication to WeadCo!

Meet Chesney Baker!

Chesney is a proud Texas native, born and raised in the close-knit community of Water Valley. With a deep-rooted agricultural background, she carries with her the values of hard work, integrity, and a love for the land. These traits have shaped her into someone who is not only dependable but also passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Chesney graduated from Angelo State University in December 2023 with a degree in Agricultural Science & Leadership. Joining WeadCo Insurance as our newest Account Manager, Chesney specializes in personal lines, helping individuals and families secure the right coverage for their needs. Her love for people shines through in every interaction, as she genuinely enjoys connecting with clients and making their insurance experience smooth and stress-free.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Chesney embracing the great outdoors, whether it's hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying the company of friends, family, and loved ones. Her infectious enthusiasm and kind-hearted nature make her a joy to be around, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her on the WeadCo team!
